I initially ran into it while reading Chogyam Trungpa's Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior, in which Trunga uses Warrior as the translation of the Tibetan word, pawo, one who is brave. I think this applies fully to the concept of adapting the ancient and traditional practice of acupuncture to our present, frenetic, imbalanced society. The Warrior Assembly is the fruition of the Shambhala Training Sacred Path program. Pawo (Wylie: dpa' bo; literally "brave guy") is translated "hero" or "warrior".
